Description: Painted for card #123 of 143 in the Magic the Gathering: Scourge cards, set 3 of 3 in the Onslaught block. Published by Wizards of the Coast. Greg loves to paint strange and unique monsters just like this one! Greg primarily paints on canvas now, and this is one of the few pieces left that he painted on board. The loose brush strokes virtually energize the painting and draw the viewer in to the sheer power of this fantastic beast! Notice the use of dark reds and vibrant green in the eye. These subtle changes were done purposefully by Greg to draw the viewer into painting, and the excellent composition moves the eye all around the piece. Signed by Greg Hildebrandt.
